We’ve Paid Over $1M to LinkedIn Creators — And We're Just Getting Started
From bootstrapped chaos to a emceeing a software conference to paying $1M+ to LinkedIn Creators. What a week.
When I started Creator Match, I had a simple but bold mission:
Fight for LinkedIn Creators and get them paid.
This week, we hit our biggest milestone yet…
💰 Over $1,000,000 paid to LinkedIn Creators for sponsored content on LinkedIn!
-Not YouTubers dabbling on LinkedIn.
-Not Instagram influencers cross-posting.
-Actual LinkedIn-first Creators, finally getting the recognition and compensation they deserve.
This milestone was (accidentally) shared early in an interview with Digiday about the rise of the creator economy on LinkedIn.
Oops. But also… worth it.
Because this moment means everything.
We’re bootstrapped.
We’re scrappy.
We’ve got 1 Full-Time Employee and a small team of brilliant contractors.
But we made it happen — without millions in VC money or a giant team.
This isn’t just a win for Creator Match 🧩.
This is a win for the entire LinkedIn Creator community.
From sleepless nights, to 17-hour days, to no salary for the first year… this journey has been anything but easy.
And as if that wasn’t enough…
Last week I did something even scarier than pitching 6-figure brand deals:
I emceed a conference in front of 1,500+ founders, investors, and operators at SaaStock.
Here’s what the highlight reel doesn’t show:
→ I couldn’t sleep for a week
→ Practiced my intro a hundred times walking around Lady Bird Lake like a madman
→ Had a full-blown internal meltdown about freezing on stage
But somehow, through WEEKS of prep, it all worked.
I not only emceed — I also interviewed the CEOs of Superhuman and PAR live on stage.
Try cold-emailing hundreds of software leaders to get 1-1 time for a coffee chat. Those private convos in the speaker green room are exactly why you say YES to crazy opportunities like this…
All I can say is thank you:
To the Brands who’ve trusted us.
To the Creators who’ve partnered with us.
To Tara Knight, our brilliant Head of Creator Marketing.
And to the thousands of folks who believed in the LinkedIn Creator movement before it was “cool.”
If the first year looked like this… just wait for year two.
We're not slowing down. We're just getting started.
And yes — the stache was staching.
