SXSW Austin is chaos. So I built you the shortcut.
The Creator Match team hand-picked 30+ of the best events at SXSW (from 1000s)—including exclusive, invite-only events you won’t find on the official event page...
If you’ve ever opened the SXSW schedule and immediately closed the tab… you’re not alone.
SXSW Austin is one of the most valuable weeks of the year for creators, founders, and marketers — and also one of the most overwhelming.
So instead of letting SXSW win… I did something slightly unhinged…
I built the cheat code. It’s free, and at the bottom of this newsletter, so keep reading. 😉
Why I built this SXSW list
I spent a 17-hour flight to Thailand doing what most people don’t have time to do:
Sifting through every relevant SXSW event so you don’t have to.
Not just the official programming — but the actual gems:
CEO & founder private dinners
LinkedIn Creator Meetups
Sunset cruises
TikTok houses
Exclusive happy hours with some of the biggest creators and brands on the planet
If you’re busy (and I know you are), you don’t need to scroll through thousands of listings just to find the 10 events that actually matter.
So I built the shortcut.
What SXSW actually is (and why it matters)
South by Southwest (SXSW) isn’t just a conference. It’s a week where the entire internet shows up in Austin… where tech, creators, brands, and culture collide in real life.
Which is exactly why the right rooms and the right people can change everything in a few days. But what rooms should you be in and how do you get the keys?
What last year taught me
Last year, the shift was obvious.
Creators stopped asking “How do I go viral?”
Last SXSW, I spoke on a panel with Brett Dashevsky (Creator Economy NYC), Chris Do (The Futur), and Olivia Owens (Teachable) on the rise of B2B creators, especially on LinkedIn, and how creators are evolving from content makers into educators, operators, and multi-stream businesses.
If you missed last years session, click the button below to watch it.
What I’m excited about for SXSW 2026
I’ll be speaking again at the official conference on one of our favorite topics - B2B Creators…
How B2B Creators are driving the next $100M Wave
Save the date: March 14, 2026 at 11:30 AM CT in the Austin Marriott Downtown - Waller Ballroom C
This is not a “how to grow on LinkedIn” talk.
It is about how creators are building real businesses and how brands are allocating serious budgets to partner with them.
Here is what we are diving into:
-How B2B creators turn audience into enterprise pipeline.
-Monetization models that actually scale.
-Why B2B creators are driving the next $100M+ wave.
-How brands measure ROI beyond impressions.
-Frameworks you can apply immediately.
I will be joined by Fiona Turko, Creator Partnerships Lead at Gamma. She leads creator strategy at one of the fastest growing AI productivity platforms and understands how brands think about distribution, conversion, and scale.
Will McTighe, Co-Founder of Saywhat.ai. He is building AI tools at the intersection of SaaS and creator monetization and brings an operator lens on building with creators, not just marketing to them.
Dedrick Boyington, Influencer Marketing at Gusto. He runs influencer strategy at a major fintech brand and understands what enterprise level creator budgets and ROI actually look like behind the scenes.
I will be moderating and connecting the dots between creators, operators, and brands building real revenue engines.
If you are serious about building, not just posting, be in that room.
